Bird Description
There are many birds that can become a nuisance or infest southern Utah properties. These species vary greatly in their nesting habits, food preferences, and behavior. Without an in-depth knowledge of these attributes of different bird species, control is difficult at best. Proper preparation is imperative for a successful service. The following steps must be completed prior to our treatment.
Step 1: Clear the exterior of your home to allow uninterrupted access to the perimeter of the property.
Step 2: Remove any excessive yard waste such as yard clippings, mulch piles, leaf litter, etc.
Step 3: Turn off your sprinklers if they are on directly before, during, or after our service application.
Step 4: Clean your home and remove debris from the floor (children’s toys, cloths, etc.).
Step 5: Insure there is a safe location for our pest control specialists to access the roof.
Step 6: The service may require the removal of roof tile, attic insulation, or fascia. In the event that such actions become necessary to properly provide a quality service we will need those areas fully cleared. Your pest control specialist will advise you if this will be necessary.
After the Treatment
It is important to note that we will do everything we can to humanely deter birds from your home. Some bird deterrence services have an ongoing program attached to them depending on the deterrence technology being used. This will be fully explained before any work is done.
